Our Meetings

Our board meets at least 4 times a year – usually in January, April, July and October.

Our board meetings talk about our activities. This includes what CHCs are hearing from people, what’s happening in the NHS in Wales, and the things we are doing. We make big decisions about our work at these meetings.

Our committees meet at least 4 times a year – usually in March, June, September and December.

Our corporate governance committee meetings look at how we are carrying out our work. This helps us make sure we do things properly.

Our standards and performance committee meetings look at how CHCs are carrying out their work. This helps us make sure CHCs are performing well and doing things properly, in line with the standards we have set.

Our Board and committee meetings are held in public, and you are welcome to attend. While we continue to live with restrictions due to the coronavirus pandemic we are not holding face-to-face meetings. We are meeting virtually.

If you would like to attend our board meetings or virtual committees, please drop us a note by email or phone the week before the meeting.

This is so we can check that you have the technology you need to view the meeting, as well as arrange simultaneous translation facilities if you want to hear our discussions in Welsh.

We will also email our public board and committee papers to you if you ask for them.

We publish regular written updates about our activities. You can see the agenda and briefings of our meetings below. We also publish an annual report which gives a full account of the work we have done and how it made a difference.
