Our Board

Our board decides our national strategy and priorities, provides scrutiny and oversight, and approves the framework we put in place to help us carry out our activities.

Our board is made up of:

• people appointed directly by Welsh Ministers through the public appointments process
• the 7 chairs of the CHCs across Wales
• our chief executive
• an elected staff member

Our board members report any interests or activities that may relate to the NHS or the activities of our Board. This includes, for example, connections with a voluntary or other body or a position in a political party.
